To eradicate the problem of workplace bullying we need new laws, new procedures and a change in management attitudes and accountability. This requires the involvement and commitment of politicians, lawmakers and the judiciary.
Statistics show that workplace bullying is particularly serious in higher education (where over 50% have experienced bullying / harassment). Looking at the workplace bullying problem in this one sector will benefit everyone since the measures adopted will apply to the whole workforce.
